You must be professional, proactive and highly enthusiastic about a career in education. This will be a demanding, as well as a highly rewarding role and the successful candidate will form part of an exceptional team of highly committed and dedicated staff.</p>\n<p>The position is available for candidates who have at least a Grade 4 qualification in English Language and Mathematics. Experience working with children is advantageous. The successful candidate would embark on a NVQ Level 3 in Teaching and Learning.</p>\n<p><strong>Principle Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ol>\n<li>To provide curriculum and learning support for students, including the collation of evidence of progression.</li>\n<li>Ensure that all students make the best possible progress in all areas of teaching and learning, curriculum, personal, social and emotional development.</li>\n<li>Support the importance of target setting and pupil data collection.</li>\n<li>To provide support to teachers and other school staff, working directly with students, ensuring that the relevant programmes of professional development is enabled and facilitated to ensure continued improvement and raised standards.</li>\n<li>To ensure all Health and Safety arrangements are effectively implanted, including child protection, all aspects of safeguarding, well-being and student behaviour.</li>\n<li>To make sure supervision is effective at all times including the start and end of the day, break and lunch times and during P.E.</li>\n<li>To work closely with carers, parents and other agencies.</li>\n<li>Successful completion of Apprenticeship.</li>\n</ol>\n<p>Candidates are invited to apply in writing (typed), expressing their interest in becoming an <strong>Apprentice Teaching Assistant</strong>, highlighting in their typed letter of application why they feel capable of this role, providing written evidence of any experience, initiatives, contributions and / or projects that they have instigated and introduced / led that have supported young people.</p>\n<p>Further copies of this advert, an application form and person specification are available from Mrs D.
