Apprentice : Teaching Assistant
(32.5 Hours)
Governors are seeking to appoint an Apprentice Teaching Assistant who is ambitious, committed and wants to embark on developing a career in education supporting and working with pupils on the autism spectrum. You must be professional, proactive and highly enthusiastic about a career in education. This will be a demanding, as well as a highly rewarding role and the successful candidate will form part of an exceptional team of highly committed and dedicated staff.
The position is available for candidates who have at least a Grade 4 qualification in English Language and Mathematics. Experience working with children is advantageous. The successful candidate would embark on a NVQ Level 3 in Teaching and Learning.
Principle Responsibilities
Candidates are invited to apply in writing (typed), expressing their interest in becoming an Apprentice Teaching Assistant, highlighting in their typed letter of application why they feel capable of this role, providing written evidence of any experience, initiatives, contributions and / or projects that they have instigated and introduced / led that have supported young people.
