We are looking for a Customer Repairs Officer to join our Customer Repairs Team supporting all our building maintenance teams. You will be based at one of the Area Housing Offices working as part of the Customer Repairs team reporting directly to the Senior Customer Repairs Officer and Assistant Customer Repairs Manager The Customer Repairs Officer role will be supporting the Building Repairs teams providing a repairs service. You will work flexibly in a call centre and be part of a rota which is regularly reviewed and adjusted appropriately to meet the demands of the service undertaking your contracted hours. You will act as the main point of contact for residents, leaseholders, PCC employees and site managers who are requesting repairs. You will need to be able to collect accurate repair information and ask effective questions ensuring that the right resource is allocated to undertake the repair at the right time that is convenient with the customer. You will also support all the Building Repairs teams providing a repairs service by carrying out a range of technical administrative duties including, updating repairs following authorisation of quotes, customer satisfaction surveys, administering Disabled Facility Grants (DFG) requests, uploading information to our stock database, arranging surveyor and annual service appointments. Skills: Your application needs to demonstrate that you: 1.	Ideally have experience in a telephone or call centre role, managing large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner 2.	Have customer service experience, strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening skills. 3. Customer Repairs Officer

You will be the Play Development Deputy Site Leader based in one of PCC's 6 adventures playgrounds (APG), deputising for the Play Development Site Manager and supervising a small team in their absence ensuring that safeguarding procedures are followed within the day to day running of an APG. The primary responsibility will be the delivery of high quality play activities which promote participation, inclusion and wellbeing. You’ll support children to follow their own ideas and interests for play as well as leading a variety of interesting and fun play activities. The role works on 30 hour per week annualised contract where the successful candidate works a total number of hours over the year, rather than a fixed number of hours per week or month. We are seeking an individual to lead our Compliance team in our newly formed Compliance service within Building Services of the Housing, Neighbourhood and Building Services Directorate. The role will have responsibility for ensuring that the Council meet its statutory compliance duties to its stock of nearly 17,000 HRA residential dwellings and 900 corporate assets. The post holder will be responsible for management of teams undertaking compliance activities in relation to; •	Gas servicing and repairs •	Asbestos management •	Water quality •	Building Health and Safety •	Lift servicing and repair •	Mechanical &amp; electrical servicing and repair The role will also assume responsibility for ensuring policies and procedures are in place across Building Services and that they are implemented so that statutory responsibilities are met with the safety of residents, members of the public, staff and our buildings being maintained. The role will hold responsibility for the overall management of all mechanical and electrical servicing and repair contracts, ensuring that contracts are suitably procured and managed, delivering a high service and providing value for money. Skills: The ideal candidate is someone who will: 1	Have a relevant property related degree and be a Chartered Member of the RICS / CIBSE / CMIOSH or other relevant professional body with post Chartership experience. We are looking for a person to join the Design Team as a project architect to support the Capital Projects Service in the delivery of the Council's construction programmes. Candidates must be enthusiastic, good communicators and have excellent attention to detail, being able to manage multiple demands and workstreams arising from the service. What is the role? Sitting within the Housing, Neighbourhoods and Building Services directorate, you will be directly reporting to the Senior Architect and supporting the Team Leader and Principal Architect in the delivery of the Council's capital projects. The design team is a multi-disciplinary group including architects, structural engineers and landscape architects. We work closely with the building surveyors, quantity surveyor, and mechanical and electrical engineers within Capital Projects. The service uses both internal and external consultants as required to deliver project outcomes. The design team is a team of experienced and committed professionals who have gained a reputation for delivering high quality, sensitive, good value and thoughtful design solutions to meet our client's brief requirements. Most of our work comes from within the Authority, but we do also work with external clients such as the NHS, charities and Multi Academy Education Trusts. Our clients are drawn from across the organisation and include Children, Families and Education, Housing Neighbourhood and Building Services, Cultural, Leisure and Regulatory Services, Adult Social Care and Economy Transport and Planning. Our work can range in size from approximately £100K to over £10m and is procured traditionally or via a design and build route depending on our client's specific requirements. We use the suite of Autodesk products with Revit being our preferred software, Adobe Creative Suite and the Microsoft Office applications are also used by the team in their day-to-day roles. Four of our architects are Certified Passivhaus Designers and we use these principles as far as possible in our housing project.
