About the teams
Passenger Transport Driver
HertsLynx provides transport to residents in rural areas who need to travel to be able to access education, employment, and leisure activities.
Dial-A-Ride and Relief Dial-A-Ride Drivers
You'll be responsible for providing a safe, friendly and reliable door to door transport service for elderly and/or disabled people unable to access other public transport .
Driver Support Worker (Adults with Disabilities)
We're looking for you to offer care and support to adults with a variety of abilities. You'll transport them to and from their homes to day services.
Driver Attendant and Relief Driver Attendant
You'll be responsible for transporting elderly service users to and from their homes to day services in a safe and caring manner.
Driver Attendant (Schools)
Your role will be crucial in ensuring children with special needs have a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable journey to and from school each day.

English Fluency
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post (for those whose language is a signed language the provision of a sign language interpreter who speaks English to the necessary standard of fluency will be required). About you
- You'll be licensed to drive minibus-type vehicles with a full unrestricted D1 category licence.
- You'll be a confident and safe driver.
- You'll have a caring and professional approach.
- You'll have experience of driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
