Wokingham Borough Council is looking for a highly motivated Senior Strategy Officer, with great communication and analytical skills, to join its Strategic Housing team. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Housing you will be leading on the development and implementation of housing strategies, policies and affordable housing delivery programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity for people looking to invest in a local authority strategic housing environment and make a positive difference to our residents.
Educated to degree level or with the equivalent work experience in housing, you will have experience of strategy development and housing development or housing commissioning. You will take ownership of particular areas of work, driving them forward and ensuring delivery. You’ll need to be a strategic thinker, a highly organised individual who is able to manage mutiple areas of work, have the ability to resolve complex issues or bring forward solutions. You will need to engage and build successful relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and partners.
