One position is being advertised for a Senior EP to cover maternity leave, and the other position is for a Senior EP to manage the newly expanded third MHST in Reading.</p>\n<p class=\"customHTML\"> </p>\n<p class=\"customHTML\"><strong class=\"customHTML\">About the role </strong></p>\n<p class=\"customHTML\">SEPs play a key role as members of the Mental Health Support Teams (MHST). In addition, Child Employment and Entertainment Licencing is another element of the team. Due to the success of our first team, we have recently expanded our service in Reading with a second MHST and will launch a third team in September 2025.</p>\n<p class=\"customHTML\"> </p>\n<p class=\"customHTML\"><strong class=\"customHTML\">About the role<br class=\"customHTML\"></strong>In line with the Government’s priority to increase access and availability of mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people, the Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) role is an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based early interventions for children and young people in educational settings.<br class=\"customHTML\"><br class=\"customHTML\">EMHPs play a key role as members of the Mental Health Support Teams. The role will include, although not limited to, completing assessments to inform subsequent intervention(s) and involves working with children, young people and/or their parents/careers to support self-management of mild to moderate mental health needs through targeted and evidence-based interventions. Applicants will also be expected to work with colleagues to provide better access to specialist mental health services and support referrals where required. <br class=\"customHTML\"><br class=\"customHTML\">Successful applicants will be expected to manage their allocated caseload.
