Play a pivotal role in the planning, co-ordination and strategic development of the Dedicated Schools Grant for schools, High Needs and Early Years, both devolved to schools and centrally retained. This will include budget modelling, forecasting, making finance recommendations and communicating key changes to senior management and schools.
Work with the head of service and Assistant Director on schools forum reporting, relationship management and decision making.
Collaborate, work in partnership with and influence a wide range of stakeholders, including schools, internal services and departments, other LA’s, education professionals and central government.

Our Technicians work with the team to provide technical support for the delivery of the Construction Crafts courses and actively participate in enhancing the student experience. In addition to helping shape and motivate our learners throughout their course, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing learning materials in readiness for practical sessions as well as maintain the equipment and assisting with demonstrations where required. This role would suit a candidate with experience form any of the construction and finishing trades, and whilst not essential, it would be advantageous for this role to have experience with forklifts and working with woodworking machines. Full training will be provided.

Brookways School is an independent specialist day school in North Cheam, London designed with a state-of-the-art learning environment which has been created to meet the needs of young people with autism.

Brookways School is part of Kedleston Group. We specialise in providing specialist education and care for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Sharing your knowledge to unlock potential whilst guiding our learners through their studies, you’ll work as part of the curriculum team to create and deliver lessons across a range of qualification levels, inspiring achievement and the best possible outcomes. The successful candidate will be a team player, an excellent communicator, and able to maintain a proactive approach to managing deadlines, whilst retaining a high standard of delivery.
In this rewarding role, you'll prepare, deliver, and assess lessons across a range of qualification levels, providing guidance and support to help learners thrive throughout their studies. Your subject expertise enhanced by relevant industry or professional experience will underpin the high-quality teaching and mentoring you provide.

If you have teaching experience, especially within Further Education this is desirable but not essential. Similarly, while a full teaching qualification (Level 5 or higher) is not required at the time of appointment, you must be willing to achieve this within three years of employment, fully supported by the College.
The Role:
Where you’ll work: This role is based at our Dartford campus.
Your hours: Up to 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum (1 FTE) (Please state in your application form and specify if you are applying for part time hours)
Your pay: £34,219 to £42,100 per annum full time equivalent, dependent on qualifications and experience.
