(FTE £27,345 - £28,521 p.a.) </p>\n<p><strong>Contract: </strong>Fixed term contract until 20th July 2025</p>\n<p><strong>Start: </strong>ASAP </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The children, staff and governors of Squirrels Heath Junior School are looking to appoint an After School Club Assistant who has experience of working with pupils in a school setting.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The role includes:-</p>\n<ul>\n<li>The transition of children from their class to the Wrap Around Care club</li>\n<li>Supervising the children, ensuring their safety at all times</li>\n<li>Setting up activities for the children to take part in</li>\n<li>Preparing food and supervising the children whilst they eat</li>\n<li>Maintaining a safe and happy environment for the children, engaging with them through play and activities</li>\n<li>To ensure the safe handover of each child to the appropriate adult at the end of the session</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We can offer:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>An experienced leadership team and supportive colleagues to help guide you</li>\n<li>Happy, confident, well behaved children who enjoy being at school</li>\n<li>Friendly and dedicated staff, parents and governors</li>\n<li>Opportunities for professional development</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The successful applicant will:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have achieved at least Grade 4 in GCSE English and Maths <em> </em>\n</li>\n<li>Hold or working towards NVQ Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or similar  </li>\n<li>Be enthusiastic about working with children and have experience working in a school setting</li>\n<li>Be a committed and flexible team player who is able to work well with others and share ideas</li>\n<li>Be an ambitious person who is keen to develop their own expertise and who has the desire to achieve</li>\n<li>Be willing and able to undertake any further training to support the role, e.g. Food Hygiene training, First Aid and Safeguarding Training</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Please apply online.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Closing Date: 4th December 2024 -
