If so, we invite you to join our innovative and dynamic team as one of our Council's Service Manager - Product and Delivery.
This role willsupport our people services for education and social care and ispivotal in managing the Council's applications and platforms and ensuring they are aligned to the needs of their users across the Council, ensuring they deliver maximum value and strategic benefit.
Please note this role does not attract sponsorship.
About you
We are looking for someone with substantial and successful experience in a corporate environment managing digital platforms and applications, with strong leadership and management skills with experience in building and leading high performing teams.
Experience in technology portfolio planning and delivery of programmes and roadmaps. Demonstrating professional knowledge of emerging information, communications and technologies and good practice frameworks, all within the sphere of Business and IT, capability and maturity models, and standards e.g. ITIL, TOGAF, Prince 2.
You'll be a strong communicator with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of partners and stakeholders. Demonstrating the ability to influence people and direct technology driven change across services. Deputising for the Strategic Manager - Digital and Data Solutions as required.
Applicants for this role will need to prove they have a recognised professional certification, preferably in architecture, digital design, data management, or applications, or evidence of continued professional managerial and personal development.
