You will need to unload the play equipment from the van. An element of manual handling is needed. </p>\n<p>The session will include monitoring the children’s behaviour, safeguarding and encouraging children to play freely and together. </p>\n<p>Working hours will be outdoors and involve the direct delivery of play opportunities to children and young people in all weather. </p>\n<p>Additional Information </p>\n<p>The successful applicant will be required to undertake essential training and will have access to a range of extra training opportunities related to the role. </p>\n<p>This post requires an enhanced DBS disclosure for regulated activity working with children. Guildford Borough Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. </p>\n<p>Hours available between 3.00pm and 6.00pm (3.15pm to 5.45pm for non-driver), Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday on a rota basis, plus occasional weekend work available.
