Based at North West Leicestershire District Council, Council Offices.

Part-Time, 21.75 hours per week (Monday to Wednesday)

Salary Band C, £10,633 - £12, 082 per annum


We are seeking a Business Support Assistant to work with us in our Environmental Health Team. The successful candidate will undertake a broad range of tasks relating to performance monitoring, customer consultation, social media, web page editing, liaising with customers over the telephone and supporting our premises/customer database (Idox Uniform).


The successful candidate will be required to develop their skills and knowledge of a range of software through job shadowing and training courses, under supervision of the Business Support Officer. We are looking for someone who has knowledge of and is competent in using social media sites.


We are looking for someone with a good working knowledge of MS Office applications (or equivalent) and who has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
