The work involves receiving and responding to allegations of breaches from members of the public, carrying out site inspections and investigations across the Borough and, under the instruction of professional planners, seeking the cessation of identified breaches. \nAs well as being readily able to interpret maps and plans and work with IT systems, you will need good communication skills, tact and the discretion necessary to deal with potentially confrontational situations.\nPrevious experience in an investigative capacity or knowledge of planning legislation and procedures would be an advantage.\nFor further information on this role please contact James Bailey on 01732 876084.
