An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic, and committed manager to join our departmental team. We need someone who has the skill and drive to push forward the work of our Community Safety team which includes our Community Wardens.

The Person:
We are looking for the successful person to have experience in in community safety, have excellent interpersonal skills, management experience, be innovative and have financial management knowledge. You will work with our other managers in creating an environment where people can be successful and creative in delivering their best work. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, the public, partner agencies and members of the council in a tactful and confident manner. You will also be able to demonstrate a practical approach to problem solving with good negotiation and mediation skills.
Considerable experience in enforcement is required together with a working knowledge of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act. You will therefore be able to understand and interpret legislation and manage your team’s workload effectively.
