Alongside this, you'll provide expert guidance on tree-related inquiries, conduct risk assessments, and ensure all works are completed on time and within budget.

If you're passionate about arboriculture and thrive on balancing technical knowledge with practical, hands-on tree care, Peabody has an exciting opportunity for you!

In this role, you will:
  • Manage and monitor the performance of contractors delivering Peabody's tree management programme.
  • Ensure that tree stock surveys are conducted accurately and completed within schedule.
  • Proactively respond to all tree-related inquiries from customers, staff, and external agencies.
  • Oversee the annual tree budget, ensuring that all works are delivered on time and within financial targets.
  • Provide expert guidance on tree health, risk assessments, and tree-related emergencies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to promote the benefits of trees and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
  • A formal qualification in Arboriculture (minimum Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in tree identification, Visual Tree Assessment, and managing tree stock.
  • Strong knowledge of BS3998 and experience working with tree survey software, such as Confirm Arb.
  • Experience managing contractors and budgets, ensuring value for money and compliance with industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work with a range of stakeholders, including local authorities and tenants.
  • A full clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Why work at Peabody?
  • 30 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays.
  • Two additional paid volunteering days each year.
  • Flexible benefits scheme, including family-friendly benefits and access to a discount portal.
  • Competitive pension contributions.
If you're ready to make a real impact on the environment and play a key role in managing Peabody's tree stock, we'd love to hear from you!
