Managing up to 10 individual team members, setting and monitoring personal objectives and identifying training needs.</li>\n<li>Take the lead in the selection and assessment of referrals to the service. Working with and managing service users’ individual support and care agreements while keeping and monitoring clear and up to date records to required standards.</li>\n<li>Manage the development of the service to meet the changing needs of the service users and assisting service users to move on when ready.</li>\n<li>Recruit, select and deploy staff effectively.</li>\n<li>Ensure all the staff team are trained and have knowledge and understanding of working with people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities and/or mental health issues.</li>\n<li>Act as main point of contact for external contacts, and families</li>\n<li>Assist in writing and reviewing needs assessments, risk assessments and positive behaviour plans</li>\n<li>Ensure KPI’s, invoices, petty cash are kept up to date</li>\n<li>Liaise with Service Manager on contract monitoring</li>\n<li>Review support packages and funding with local authorities</li>\n<li>Work with internal teams such as housing management issues, other Origin Care & Support schemes, Finance and Repairs</li>\n<li>Complete health and safety checks of the building</li>\n<li>Work with external agencies such as social workers, medical professionals, Care Quality Commission and National Autistic Society</li>\n<li>Come forward with a can-do attitude</li>\n<li>Undertake any other duties consistent with the objectives of this post as required by the service manager/head of service</li>\n<li>Available to step in and cover support sessions as and when required</li>\n<li>Support your own personal development by attending training events as required.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate commitment to always valuing diversity and upholding Origin’s equal opportunities policy.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>An inspiring past and a bright future</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Benefits</strong></p>\n<p>We look after our people and provide benefits that support them both in and outside of work.
