Business Support Assistant

Birmingham (On-Site)
Permanent, Full time
£24,027 - £25,92 per year
We have an exciting opportunity within our Business Support Service for a Full Time and Part Time Business Support Assistant to join our Family Time and Conference Service, providing essential support to the reception function and the day to day running of our Family Time and Conference Centres. This will involve meeting and greeting internal and external customers, resolving customer enquiries face to face and over the telephone, room bookings, processing of post, up-dating children’s records, supporting with building enquiries and opening and closing of buildings.
We are looking for a committed person who has excellent communication skills and is passionate about delivering high quality customer service. You will be, organised, have good attention to detail, able to work effectively within a dedicated team environment, can problem solve, work on your own initiative and be able to deliver the role with a flexible approach.
Key skills we will be looking for in your personal statement include:
- An understanding of customer service
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- The ability to communicate in person and/or in writing, a variety of information to a range of people
- The ability to work flexibly as part of a team environment, providing cover when needed to ensure continuity of service provision
- The ability to work with some initiative and little supervision
- The ability to work under pressure including meeting deadlines and dealing with interruptions
- The ability to cope with situations where there is an emotional demand arising from the work being undertaken
- The ability to manage a process, ensuring accurate and timely outputs
