It’s an exciting time to join us as we develop new policies and transform the way people access services.</p><p>We are immensely proud that when asked what’s great about working for Halton, the most popular response from our workforce has been ‘our colleagues’. </p><p><strong>Our Team:</strong></p><p>Runcorn Locality Team are keen to recruit a full time Early Help Family Worker to join our dedicated and experienced team of Family Workers.  We are looking for a practitioner who is enthusiastic and committed to working with families who have multiple and complex needs.</p><p>Runcorn Locality Team are based in Runcorn Family Hubs but you will be required to visit families in their own homes and support with them in other venues in the community.</p><p><strong>Hours:</strong> 30 per week</p><p><strong>Your Contributions:</strong></p><p>You will need to have a thorough understanding of safeguarding and have previous experience of working with families of children aged 0-18 years who are dealing with issues such as poor adult and child mental health, substance misuse, domestic abuse, exploitation, missing from home, family breakdown, housing and financial difficulties.</p><p>The Early Help Family Worker role includes that of Lead Professional to complete MAP assessments, coordinate services and implement & review action plans. You will undertake direct work with young people, parents and carers in areas such as positive parenting, behaviour management and family relationships, ensuring that the voice of the child influences their support plan. You will be working with other professionals to deliver group work and training to parents, carers and young people.</p><p>You will manage an individual caseload and as such be able to prioritise your own workload and meet challenging deadlines. Your case recording must be clear, analytical and timely.
