Family Mosaic are looking to recruit a full-time female visiting support worker to support our customers living independently in the community.

Support tasks involve personal care, shopping, cooking, assessing customer mail, dealing with various agencies on behalf of the customers we support. No two days are the same and customers support needs are varied. Our customers like staff who have a good sense of humour, can use their initiative, are honest and have good values.

You’ll need a sense of humour, an approachable manner and the resilience to cope with a busy, challenging and emotive job.

Staff must have access to independent means of transport as visiting customers is across multiple sites. Travel time and mileage is paid at £0.44p per mile to customers’ homes after first visit to the last visit of your shift.

We provide support across seven days per week, therefore, the successful applicant will be required to work various shift patterns to ensure the service is supported 24 hours per day. Previous experience would be an advantage but not essential as successful applicants will receive thorough training and an induction.
