Head of Commercial

Are you an experienced leader with a proven track record in managing commercial teams within a large organisation? Do you have the operational and financial expertise to drive excellence and deliver value for money? If so, Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Commercial to join our team and make a significant impact on the delivery of property services.

Reporting to the Director of Asset Investment, you will lead a team of 10 colleagues and oversee budgets exceeding £250m across key workstreams, including Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), Fire, and Planned Investment. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring financial and asset data accuracy, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and managing annual budgets and three-year investment programmes.
• Ensuring efficiency and accountability in contractor payments and operational costs.
• Leading data analysis to inform strategic decisions and manage risks effectively.
• Engaging with stakeholders to deliver value and uphold Peabody's high standards.

What you'll bring to the role:

• Proven experience in leading commercial teams within similar-sized organisations.
• Expertise in financial management, forecasting, and multi-workstream budget accountability.
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with asset management and financial systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

This role requires two days per week in one of our offices. We welcome candidates from various locations and offer hybrid working.
