Our Business Support Service is looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic, and organised individuals who can ensure that a high level of administrative support is provided to our departments.
Our Business Support Service is a centralised unit which has been formed to deliver a co-ordinated, consistent, and high-quality service supporting service delivery across the organisation. Business Support is critical to ensuring our departments can support services to our residents, and if you have great administrative skills and a strong customer focus, you could be part of it.
You'll be working as part of the central Business Support Service with more than 400 colleagues, and you'll be supporting our departments to ensure they are able to deliver critical services to the residents of Hertfordshire.

Family Safeguarding West -Full time 37hrs 12 months fixed term - Apsley & Hybrid working.
This role provides administrative support to a front-line social work team, working with other agencies to enable social work staff to undertake accurate assessments and offer appropriate support, requesting information from other agencies, note taking at group supervision meetings, formatting court reports, and managing meeting administration.

School Age Statutory SEND Service 2x Full Time 37 hours, Hemel Hempstead
A Support Officer in the School Age Statutory SEND Service will support the EHC Annual Reviews process by maintaining and updating records related to EHCPs and annual reviews. They will receive and log paperwork from partner agencies, including schools, and update system records for children with EHCPs. The role involves assisting team members with queries, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and guidelines. As the first point of contact for parents, schools, and external agencies, they will handle inquiries, provide information, and direct others to the appropriate part of the organization.

This role will involve regularly sending letters, taking minutes, and supporting the day to day running of the office and team by ordering of supplies and services. The post holder will be key to ensuring that the team are able to undertake their tasks with the family and will be integral to the smooth running of the office base. Safeguarding

This role provides administrative support to the School Admissions & Transport Team. You will support the Team monitoring incoming communications, supporting the application process, note taking at panel meetings and accurately recording information on the database to enable the Team to process and allocate school places and transport.

Access & Inclusion - Part-Time 18.5 Hours Stevenage
This position provides support to teams within the Access and Inclusion area who fulfils various statutory duties in relation to access to education for children of compulsory school age (5-16 years old). They work directly with children, their families and schools assessing difficulties and helping to develop practices and strategies to improve pupil's participation in education.

- Proven experience in an administrative or support role
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a range of audiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Experience in working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to plan own work over short timescales for routine or familiar tasks and processes and use your initiative to work independently.
- GCSE or Vocational equivalent, strong numeracy, and literacy skills.
- Enthusiasm and pride in your work are qualities we welcome.
- Experience in minute or note taking
- You will be used to working to tight deadlines and with high accuracy in written correspondence.
