Following a recent restructuring in the Finance team two exciting opportunities of a Financial Services Support Officer post have become available. These are two of the eight Financial Services Officer posts, which form part of a busy Finance team consisting of 15 posts in total. The role is wide and varied and provides an excellent opportunity to learn a whole range of finance activities, such as invoice processing, various bank reconciliations, vat claims and CIS tax, preparation of the supplier payment runs, day to day use of the Agresso system, budget manager support and monitoring of capital and revenue spend, payroll validation, insurance activity, assistance with the completion of statutory returns and year end closedown to name but a few. There is also the opportunity for the successful individuals to study for a relevant accounting qualification, which will be supported by the organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is interested in progressing a career in finance. Candidates who have recently passed the Association of Accounting technicians exams are invited to apply as are those interested in studying for the exams as support to progress this qualification will be provided to the appropriate candidate. Candidates who have already achieved the qualification are likely to be appointed on grade 5 but those that wish to study for the qualification will be appointed at the grade 4 level, but will progress to grade 5 on successful completion of the qualification.
