<p>As a MiCare Support Worker you:</p>
<ul>
<li>Provide support to adults to develop and maintain activities of daily living, including personal care.</li>
<li>Support people to undertake a range of social care tasks such as washing, dressing/undressing, showering, and bathing, meal preparation, domestic activities and engaging in community activities.</li>
<li>Undertake a range of delegated health care tasks as required such as prompt prescribed medication, supporting the application of prescribed creams, eye and ear drops, catheter care and prompting exercise as prescribed by the physiotherapist.</li>
</ul>
<p>It is essential that you have a full UK driving license and access to a car to enable you to work in this role.</p>
<p><strong>Basic pay of £12.85 - £13.05 per hour, Saturdays at £19.28 - £19.59 per hour, Sundays and bank holidays at £25.70 - £26.11 per hour.&nbsp; </strong></p>
<p>Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, however, if you have the passion and commitment to help and support others then we can offer you a comprehensive induction and a tailored training plan, with support to undertake the QCF Diploma and Level 2 Health and Social Care qualifications fully funded by us!</p>

<li>Working flexibly on shifts between 8am-6pm weekdays, likely 10am-6pm, with regular evening, weekend and bank holiday work with pay uplifts. Initial training may be within weekday and Saturday 8am-6pm range</li>

Leicestershire Police is looking for dedicated <strong>Volunteer Cadet Leaders</strong> to support our thriving <strong>Volunteer Police Cadet (VPC) Scheme</strong>.</p><p>Since its launch in 2015, the VPC programme has grown significantly, now supporting nearly 120 cadets across four active units in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. Our Volunteer Cadet Leaders play a vital role in guiding and mentoring these young people.</p><h4><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h4><p>As a Volunteer Cadet Leader, you’ll:</p><ul><li>Support and supervise cadets during their activities and deployments</li><li>Help build confidence, discipline, and community spirit among young people</li><li>Be a positive role model and part of a supportive team</li></ul><h4><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></h4><p>To join us, you’ll need:</p><ul><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>A team-oriented mindset</li><li>To be aged 18 or over</li></ul><p>No prior experience is necessary – we’ll provide you with tailored training, ongoing support, and guidance from our Force VPC Lead Coordinator.</p><h4><strong>Why Volunteer?</strong></h4><p>As a Police Support Volunteer, you’ll be giving back to your community in a meaningful way. You’ll help bridge the gap between policing and the public, all while gaining valuable experience and making a real impact.</p><h4><strong>Cadet Unit Details</strong></h4><p>Our cadet units meet weekly for two hours, typically from 6pm to 8pm.
