Southdown is looking to recruit two Floating Support Officers to join a busy team providing support across three contracts in Brighton and Hove. Community Connections and Community Links services support clients to prevent homelessness through tenancy sustainment and to build resilience in managing mental health challenges whilst living independently. Community Moves service supports clients to make the transition from supported accommodation into independent living whilst developing life skills and building confidence.
You will work within the Brighton and Hove area and in partnership with a range of stakeholders. You’ll be able to communicate effectively with vulnerable clients, will be confident working autonomously, and managing a challenging and diverse workload. With excellent organisational skills, you will have the ability to work to deadlines, enjoy problem-solving and team work, and have good IT skills, particularly data input and record keeping.
