Achieving for Children has a fantastic opportunity available in the Maidenhead Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Team, for an Interim Post 14 EHCP Assessment Coordinator on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. <h2>About the role</h2>
As a SEND Assessment Coordinator (EHCP) you will be expected to&nbsp;undertake core statutory elements of the role including completing needs assessments in relation to statutory requests for an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHC) for those ages 14-25 years within statutory timescales, write EHC Plans that are legally compliant with the statutory requirements of the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice and&nbsp;undertake relevant casework, including supporting work for Tribunal Cases and presenting cases to relevant decision-making panels for consideration, attending annual reviews of EHC plans and updating plans as required. Other aspects of the role include:

<li>Keep up to date with all relevant local and national material/research relevant to the client group and build this knowledge into service delivery and contribute to the broader aims of the organisation to improve integrated delivery to children and young people.</li>
<li>Promoting high standards of practice in safeguarding having particular regard to statutory guidance on safeguarding disabled children. Follow agreed policies and procedures when there are concerns that need to be acted upon.</li>

Key responsibilities:

Electoral Services Officer – Full Time/Part Time
Full-time (37 hours per week) until March 2026, followed by part-time (22 hours per week) thereafter.
We have an excellent opportunity available for a motivated Electoral Services Officer to join our Electoral Services team, here at Wokingham Borough Council on a permanent basis.
As an Electoral Services Officer, you will play an essential role in supporting the day-to-day operations related to Elections and Electoral Registration. &nbsp;Working closely with the Electoral Services Manager, you will assist in the planning and delivery of all local and national elections, referenda, and parish or other polls.
The role also involves helping to prepare, publish, and maintain the register of electors.

Key responsibilities:

<li>To assist in the organisation and conduct of all local and national elections, referenda and parish or other polls.</li>
<li>To assist with all office administration and answer queries via the phone, email, and face to face, some of which will be complex and require awareness of legal implications.</li>

Role specific:
Please note that this is a politically restricted role. 
You will be required to work outside of normal office hours as required during specified periods, particularly during the annual canvass and election time. 
You will need to take annual leave to fit around the electoral services cycle of work and acceptance that leave is restricted during election and annual canvass periods (usually March – May and October/November).
You will also be required to work full time, 37 hours per week, for six weeks during election periods.
