  • Event-driven architectures
  • Decoupled and microservices based integration patterns
  • Define common data standards and clear data exchange agreements between systems
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, data governance and security frameworks

Technical Leadership & Standards

  • Establish reusable integration patterns, frameworks and best practices
  • Lead design assurance and provide oversight on complex integration solutions
  • Support development teams in solving highly complex data and system integration challenges
  • Drive consistency, scalability and resilience across the integration landscape

Delivery & Implementation Oversight

  • Oversee the delivery of enterprise integrations across CRM/ERP systems, web platforms and third-party solutions
  • Guide implementation across technologies such as APIs, middleware, messaging and data pipelines
  • Ensure solutions are built with robust error handling, monitoring, logging and supportability
  • Collaborate closely with development, data and platform teams to ensure quality delivery

Data & System Integration

  • Lead the design of data integration strategies, including batch, real-time and hybrid approaches
  • Enable trusted, timely and governed data flows between systems
  • Support integration of finance systems and transactional platforms, ensuring accuracy, auditability and performance
  • Address challenges around data quality, duplication, transformation and synchronisation

Governance & Assurance

  • Define and enforce integration governance, standards and design authority processes
  • Ensure compliance with security, data protection and regulatory requirements
  • Manage technical risks, dependencies and integration-related technical debt
  • Maintain clear documentation, including architecture artefacts and decision records

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand integration requirements
  • Translate complex business processes into practical, scalable technical solutions
  • Collaborate with external suppliers and partners on integration design and delivery
  • Communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Strong understanding of identity, security, and access control, including authentication, authorisation, and secure integration patterns (e.g. OAuth2, token-based security, role-based access)
  • Exposure to modern data platforms and data engineering approaches, including data pipelines, warehousing, and analytics platforms (e.g. Microsoft Fabric or similar)
