We're recruiting a Mental Health Worker who will be tasked with triaging identifiable and contributory needs to mental health presentations, developing suitable intervention and signposting plans primarily for adults to help reduce the impact of mental health and impoverished functioning upon parental capacity. With an overarching objective being to improve parental wellbeing factors and capacity to provide safe and responsive care to children, which in turn supports harm and/or impairment reduction for children thereby improving their attainable outcomes. We are currently recruiting a Senior Practitioner to join our 16+ Care Leavers Service. You will support children in care aged 16+ whilst you prepare them for transition to a personal advisor at 18 and into independence.As a senior practitioner in our 16 plus Care Leavers Service you will support the team manager within the team and provide high quality case advice and guidance to colleagues focusing on the wellbeing of children in care and care experienced young people and supporting them on their journey to independence. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the learning and development of others either through acting as a Practice Assessor for students on placement, or contributing to training activities in a specialist area. About the Role:
The primary role of the Assistant Transport Manager is to ensure the efficient &amp; effective running of the Council’s Fleet services, whilst maintaining compliance with all aspects of the operator’s license. This involves the procurement, management, maintenance and repair of all of the Council’s vehicles across a number of service areas.
You will be also responsible for managing the day-to-day running of an in-house workshop which facilitates the repair of fleet vehicles, provides MOT services for class 4, 5 &amp; 7 vehicles and taxi plating. About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic person with initiative, drive and a passion for good governance and scrutiny to lead our Democratic Services team. This will involve co-ordinating the work of the team to ensure the Council’s Committees, meetings and Members receive high quality support. You will be responding to customer concerns over their accommodation and proactively improving their housing conditions by obtaining the necessary repairs and improvements. HMO licencing of properties will be undertaken, along with the investigations of any condition breaches.&nbsp;
You will also administer a small number of complex DFGs which promote independence within the homes of disabled and vulnerable residents. Senior Environmental Health Officer - Housing Standards

Working as a member of the parking services team, the post holder will be a front-line operative for the council assisting members of the public with information, offering advice and guidance on parking restrictions. Ensuring correct use of both off-street and on-street parking spaces, in accordance with the relevant Parking Orders and Traffic Management Act 2004. Civil Enforcement Officers (CEO) will also be required to issue Penalty Charge Notices to vehicles parking in contravention of the parking regulations, which may incur some negative verbal interaction. Written reports will need to be completed by the post holder recording details of any incidents. On a daily basis CEO's will walk their allocated route, which could be up to 10/12 miles, assessing road signage and road lining for compliance purposes; informing their supervisor of any issues or concerns. CEO's must ensure all incidents are brought to the attention of the Supervisor immediately – providing written statements and reports. They may also need to attend court or adjudication panels when required, as well as to submit evidence when called upon. Medway Council's equipment procedures must be adhered to – ensuring that all equipment is given due care and protection, daily start of shift checks should be carried out for faults and damaged equipment to be immediately reported to the Supervisor. CEO's will be required to assist with the clearing of snow from Medway car park surfaces as directed, if the weather inhibits the issuing of Penalty Charge Notices.The post holder will work on a shift pattern basis to ensure that the parking service is operational 7 days per week, from 07:00am – 10:15pm hours (including bank holidays).A uniform is required to be worn for this role at all times. As our Policy &amp; Performance Manager you’ll support us as we move towards a new future for local government in Kent. You’ll be critical in keeping our Members and most senior officers one step ahead by providing high quality research, analysis and advice.&nbsp;Providing us with the latest insight and the right approach to performance management, you’ll steer us through the changing local government environment.

This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office (2-3 days) and home working (2-3 days).
