  • Hours: 37 hours per week. Average 37 hours per week on an annualised hours basis i.e. Summer hours ( 43.01 hrs Apr to Oct) are longer than winter hours (34.35 hrs Oct to Apr). In winter every other Friday is a stand down day.
  • Salary: G4: £21,137 with possible progression to £22,469 per annum - (pro rata for part time)

The role

Our Cemeteries Gardeners work in any of our cemeteries or closed churchyards across Oxford, carrying out all aspects of ground maintenance and horticulture activities.

We are looking to fill this vacancy with someone who is a great team player and who has recent experience in a broad range of grounds maintenance roles, as well as someone who can, preferably, operate a variety of horticultural machinery, including a 360 excavator and a dumper. They should be a flexible person who can deal with members of the public in a caring and sympathetic manner and work efficiently.
