About the Role
We are looking to employ a Maintenance Officer/Engineer, as part of a small and dedicated team responsible for servicing and maintaining gymnasium, sports, and fitness equipment, both indoors and outdoors in Surrey schools and colleges.
The position is based at our workshop unit at West Ewell, but is essentially mobile around the County. A driving licence is essential, as you will be required to drive the County vans. This work also involves the use of steps, ladders and sometimes a tower when working at heights.
You will mainly work as part of a team, but will be required to use your own initiative, carrying out repairs, services and completing job sheets.
You will need to be confident when dealing with school and site staff, and should be able to work on a number of tasks in an environment with children and young adults.
We are looking for qualifications or relevant experience in carpentry, upholstery, metalwork and welding, and electrical work on up to 240v equipment.
