Ideally you will hold a higher level health and safety qualification, such as a NEBOSH diploma and/or have substantial health and safety enforcement experience.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic manager to lead our Commercial Environmental Health services at Hertsmere Borough Council. This senior role oversees a diverse portfolio including food safety, health and safety, public health and the Disabled Facilities Grants service. For part time applicants, where your working week is less than the council’s basic 37 hour week, contracted overtime rated pay will not form part of your working hours. This is because overtime rated pay is payable for hours worked in excess of the council’s basic 37 hour week. Your starting salary will be pro rata based on the basic annual salary elements of pay between £42,708 &amp; £45,718.

We are currently looking for an experienced, qualified Lifeguard to join our team at Hythe Swimming Pool to undertake a range of different shifts on a rolling rota. We are seeking proactive individuals that are team players with excellent customer service skills.
This is a permanent position of either 18.5 or 37 hours per week (depending on your availability) and therefore not suitable for those looking for a Casual / Zero hour contract.
