Are you looking for the opportunity to take on a new challenge?
Do you want to be involved in developing a new team dedicated to corporate health and safety?
Are you and experienced health and safety manager with a proven track record of delivering improvements?
As a qualified health and safety specialist with strong people skills, you will take a lead role in implementing, developing and monitoring health and safety issues across&nbsp; both Guildford and Waverley Borough Council’s.&nbsp; You will develop a positive health and safety culture and ensure both organisations meet statutory and legislative requirements. &nbsp;&nbsp;
In this role you will act as lead advisor at all organisational levels to ensure that the health, safety and welfare of our employees, contractors, visitors and service users is protected.&nbsp;
This is a new role, which provides the perfect opportunity to work with our existing managers to build a golden thread of good health and safety practice throughout our organisation.
This post is a full-time role for 37 hours a week, split between offices in Guildford and Godalming.&nbsp;
