<h4>Job summary</h4>Rail safety, strategy &amp; policy team delivers a range of policy, regulatory and corporate functions as well as providing strategic direction to RSD’s work through risk ranking and prioritisation. <h4>Job description</h4>We are recruiting a fixed term <strong>Operational Development Manager (ODM) </strong>to join the Railway Safety Directorate (RSD). As part of our Capability Team, reporting directly to the Capability Programme Lead, you will work alongside other ODMs and other RSD colleagues to deliver key aspects of our L&amp;D strategy for RSD. You will play a significant role in the development and delivery of our NEBOSH-accredited regulatory training programme (RTP) and technical training programme (TTP) for new trainee inspectors, specialist inspectors and inspector assistants. The training programmes can take 36 months to complete, and we may have multiple cohorts at different stages of the programmes.
