This is a customer-facing role which means direct contact with customers with a view to providing a tailor-made advice service on the best way of resolving customers housing issues. Rushmoor Borough Council and Hart District Council have entered into a Corporate Health &amp; Safety resource sharing Partnership. To support this work we are looking for a part time Corporate Health &amp; Safety Assistant for a period of two years to work closely with the Service Manager for Risk, Resilience &amp; Procurement at Rushmoor BC, providing support across both Councils.You will need to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in providing health and safety advice/guidance and carrying out risk assessments, ideally in a related industry with a similar risk profile or a similar related field. You will be highly organised, enthusiastic, have a good eye for detail and be able to act on your own initiative. The role involves working across two Council’s and where necessary externally with key partners, so great interpersonal and communication skills are essential.Although the role will report to the Service Manager for Risk, Resilience and Procurement at Rushmoor BC as the employing authority, the role will allocate time equally between the partner organisations. This is a part time role and there is some flexibility in the days and hours in which it is delivered, if within normal office hours (Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-4:40pm). About the role The role will focus primarily on working with schools in the borough. You will need to be a good communicator and well organised.

Mapesbury School is our new Special Educational Needs school in Cricklewood, Brent. Our small school supports children aged between 7 to 16 years with Autism and associated conditions who have not been able to access education in a mainstream or specialist setting and would benefit from an integrated therapeutic approach to education.
