Cross River Partnership’s Recruit London project ( offers a free high-quality local recruitment service to businesses and helps central-London job seekers into the opportunities created. We are recruiting for a Workplace Coordinator to join us at this exciting time to help us deliver the project.

As a Workplace Coordinator you will be based with our partner, Heart of London Business Alliance (, providing a local recruitment service to their member or tenant businesses. You will engage, influence and negotiate with businesses to access vacancies suitable for local job seekers.

You will engage local job-seekers and screen to ensure suitability for the job. You will design and deliver bespoke training sessions and provide mentoring to prepare candidates for roles. You will then broker the candidates into jobs available and continue to provide support to both the candidate and employer to achieve sustainment in work.

You must have excellent organisational skills, be good at business engagement and be able to manage a large workload to meet the needs of all partners. You must be self-motivated and able to work independently, but also work collaboratively with colleagues as part of a team.

You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to tailor your approach effectively to different audiences.
