Charity Retail - Vintage and Retro Shop Volunteer
Volunteer to help Sue Ryder to be there when it matters.
We are looking for people who love Vintage &amp; Retro and upcycling items to join our dedicated and creative team in Holt. We have a large specialist vintage and retro department, catering for fashion enthusiasts who are looking for that special, unique look at a competitive price. &nbsp;Our diverse stock also consists of a large menswear department, extensive bric-a-brac shelves and a frequently refreshed ladies section featuring only mid to high-end labels priced at a fraction of their recommended retail value.
Please note - we do have a minimum age requirement in our shops of 18. We regret that we cannot proceed with your application if you are not yet 18.
The Role – Charity Retail - Vintage and Retro Shop Volunteer • &nbsp; &nbsp;Donations and Gift Aid – meet donors, receive donations, sign donors up to Gift Aid • &nbsp; &nbsp;Sorting, labelling, pricing of stock • &nbsp; &nbsp;Greeting and helping customers • &nbsp; &nbsp;Serving customers on the till (training provided) • &nbsp; &nbsp;Maintaining shop displays, re-stocking,&nbsp; • &nbsp; &nbsp;Light cleaning/tidying duties to keep the shop inviting and well presented

Charity Retail eBay Volunteer &nbsp; Be there when it matters as a Sue Ryder Volunteer
As a Retail eBay Volunteer in one of our Sue Ryder charity shops, you will identify and research a range of products that have been donated ready to be listed on the Sue Ryder eBay page to maximise revenue.
This role requires a keen eye for items that can make more online than in the shop. In this role you will be one of the store’s friendly faces who will help us to provide the best customer experience whilst playing an important role in raising funds for our charity work.
The Role: • Researching and value items • Photograph items to sell • Preparing items for dispatch to the ebay hub • Sorting, labelling, pricing of stock • Write descriptions for item listings • Greeting and helping customers • Light cleaning/tidying duties to keep the shop inviting and well presented
 About you: • Enjoy helping and engaging with customers • Competent with IT &amp; a good level of literacy • Ability to work as part of a team • Reliable • Have similar experience using eBay or equivalent Ecommerce platforms. &nbsp; Working as a volunteer at one of our Sue Ryder shops is not only a rewarding way to learn new and transferable skills but also a fantastic chance to make new friends and become part of your local community. Plus, you will receive a volunteer discount on donated goods.
