Preston is a service that supports 5 men who have Learning Disabilities. The aim of the service is to provide a homely person centred service where people can feel safe, happy and listened to. Where people are encouraged and empowered to make their own choices and lead independent and stimulating lives. The service is registered with the Care Quality Commission.

Main Advert Detail

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is motivated to support people to learn new skills and develop their independence. To be comfortable supporting people with personal care, and have excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with service users, their families and other professionals. In return we will offer you support and specialised training including Positive Behaviour Support, Makaton, Inclusive Communication and level 2/3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.

You will work on a rota basis that will include early, late and weekend shifts which are claimed as additional enhancements.
