The Assembly Hall theatre is a thriving 985 seat theatre in the heart of Tunbridge Wells town centre with an eclectic annual programme of shows ranging from children and family, comedy, West End touring musicals and dramas, popular music. There is also the exciting prospect of a new development

We are seeking two dynamic and engaging people managers to lead a team of up to 50 casual workers and be responsible for all aspects of running the theatre at show times.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in a busy customer service environment, preferably bar and catering, and will have some knowledge of till systems operation, cash handling and stock control. The role is flexible involving evenings and weekends with some office hours for admin and organisational work.

You must able to work calmly and effectively with a wide range of people, including artists and visiting production staff. You will have a confident and approachable manner, be able to work with minimal supervision, remaining calm and focussed whilst under pressure working to tight time schedules. The ideal candidate would also have skills in self-organisation as well as the organisation of others
