You will play a key role in the development and delivery of the Sutton Town Centre Masterplan, in particular the potential regeneration of town centre housing estates to improve neighbourhoods and deliver additional housing, reflecting our ambitions for growth and an attractive and vibrant locality with high quality public realm.

You will coordinate the planning and implementation of the Council's estate regeneration programme, working closely with staff in Sutton Housing Partnership and other services in the Council.

You will undertake a range of project management tasks on specific projects in the Council’s new build and estate regeneration programmes, including commissioning and procurement activities. This will include coordinating the input of specialist consultants, including community architects, to develop and appraise options for regeneration.

You will maintain links with developers, Registered Providers, and statutory bodies to ensure that they are informed of and can contribute to the delivery of Council’s strategic priorities, organising market engagement events, with appropriate input from other Council services.

You will closely monitor actual construction progress on the ground by visiting sites regularly.
