*Salary* £31,953 - £33,627 *Location* Old Town Hall, Catford Road, SE6 4RU *The Role* Our residents are at the heart of everything we do and we provide high quality customer focussed and responsive Housing Management service to Lewisham Homes’ residents. As a Housing & Temporary Accommodation Officer you will lead and work collaboratively with internal and external partners to ensure residents are supported and able to sustain their tenancies wherever possible. In addition, ensure breaches of tenancy are tackled swiftly and appropriately. The role will combine management of a patch of general need tenancies as well as Assured Shorthold Tenancies of properties acquired by Lewisham Homes. Duties will include the letting of properties supporting victims of anti-social behaviour, managing tenancies and carrying out property inspections. You will also be required to represent Lewisham Homes in court for breaches of tenancy too. We need a confident communicator with excellent people skills, time management and organisation skills who can represent the organisation and deliver the highest standards of customer service. •Deliver excellent, reputation-enhancing customer service at all times •Assist residents with a wide range of housing related enquiries •Participate fully and effectively in team working and contribute to a culture of continuous performance improvement We strive to offer a professional and efficient service to our residents and you will be working in a target driven environment. This is what we are looking for… •A good knowledge of Housing Law as it applies to Tenancy Management and its practical application •Experience of dealing with complex issues within a diverse community, ideally within social housing •Experience of responding to and successfully resolving formal complaints •Educated to GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths •Flexible, can-do approach to colleagues and customers We require staff to work 36 hours per week 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday We offer great pay and flexible working.
