This team will be involved in reviewing the loans the National Housing Bank will make.</p><p>Working in a team with the Head of Risk for Lending Products, this post plays a critical role in ensuring the Lending Products Risk Team deliver high quality assurance, challenge and maintenance of standards across Homes England – and the National Housing Bank.</p><p>You will be joining our small but highly experienced team, who are committed to making positive change by identifying and mitigating risk to allow Homes England to provide funding to developers tackling England’s housing gap.</p><p>The team believes in delivering a first-class customer service, pragmatically resolving risks and challenges collaboratively wherever possible, taking an innovative and creative approach to issues. You’ll have a great knowledge base, but be keen to learn and deploy your existing expertise and knowledge in a variety of situations.</p><p>Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn’t always easy. Desirable to hold a post-graduate qualification/ professional qualification.</li><li>Able to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of own area of specialism combined with a broad knowledge of risk and financial matters, honed from previous roles and prior experience.</li><li>Experience and familiarity of promoting sound and commercially focussed risk management principles and practices within a public/ private sector environment.</li><li>Able to solve problems and provide practical solutions and approaches to politically sensitive and complex issues and scenarios.</li><li>Experience in influencing and negotiating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders who may have conflicting agendas and priorities.</li><li>Able to concisely and clearly present complex information and scenarios to Senior Management within the Agency, and DLUHC and HMT in both written and verbal format.</li><li>Able to make strong and robust decisions under the pressure of short timescales and external and internal expectations.</li><li>Ability to work, negotiate, and deliver to tight deadlines, whilst ensuring that a high-quality output is delivered.</li></ul><h4>Benefits</h4>Homes England is an executive non-departmental public body with its own terms and conditions, benefits and pension scheme.
