About the Role
Are you inspired by an opportunity to work on developments that will have a real impact on communities within the Liverpool City Region?
As the Lead Officer for Housing Delivery for the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority you will have the opportunity to support a range of exciting and high-profile housing and regeneration projects. You will work with development and housing programmes teams, setting up a multi-agency delivery unit that will provide direction and oversight of the delivery of our emerging housing pipeline moving priority housing projects into the delivery phase.&nbsp; This will include:
<ul>
<li>Identifying the activity and resources required to address barriers to delivery across the SPP pipeline,</li>
<li>Devise robust financing models to deliver our long-term housing plans,</li>
<li>Develop a route to market proposal which could include a shared delivery model or procurement frameworks,</li>
<li>Establish a delivery team to unlock stalled and large strategic sites,</li>
<li>Maintain and build effective partnerships with key delivery partners across the LCR including Homes England, Registered Providers, private developers and local authority partners,</li>
<li>Identifying where further research and analysis is required.</li>
</ul>
This role sits in the Housing Partnerships team within the Investment and Delivery Directorate.

The successful candidate will be able to see the opportunities to add value and maximise the use of funding for housing delivery. They will be confident working with partners both internal and external and have strong communication skills and the ability to lead on housing delivery and funding.
Team members should be self-starting, collaborative and ambitious, offer fresh ideas, and demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based investment, and a determination to deliver for the people of the Liverpool City Region.
