About the role
As HR Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for operational managers and will provide effective, timely and commercial advice, guidance and support on employee relations issues and absence cases. You will advise and coach operational managers and colleagues to encourage the speedy and informal resolution of cases including promotion of our mediation service.
We're looking for you to provide initial advice on ER case documentation and correspondence to ensure it complies with relevant policies, procedures and UK employment law, and assist with TUPE;s and restructures, signposting managers to relevant templates and guidance as appropriate. You will need a good sense of judgement and will work closely with our HR Business Partners.
You'll also play a key role in preparing and analysing accurate and timely management information in relation to people management issues on a regular monthly and quarterly basis.
You will be part of a national HR team, supporting managers form different parts of the organisation. This role gives the jobholder the opportunity for personal growth and development.
Who we’re looking for
You will have experience of providing advice and guidance to all levels of management, utilising coaching and influencing skills, and the ability to interpret and apply HR policies and procedures within the context of the UK legislative framework.  You will demonstrate commitment to providing efficient, commercial and flexible customer focused services, have excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
With previous experience of being the first point of contact for people management issues, working autonomously to support early resolution, exercising good judgement about when to escalate issues, you will also have experience of working with HR data and KPI's.
We're looking for you to have experience of working with stakeholders across multiple locations, advising and guiding managers through a range of ER issues and ideally you will have a CIPD or a relevant HR qualification and experience of report writing and analysis. 
The role will be primarily office based however there will be a requirement for some travel across the region.
