Are you a proven HR professional who is able to balance a complex and varied generalist HR work caseload, whilst supporting others to deliver HR projects?
If you are an experienced, confident and motivated team player, and want to help us achieve our challenging workload and goals for 17/18 and beyond, read on….
We are a forward thinking organisation. Our culture is friendly, flexible and supportive, and our recent staff satisfaction survey results support this.
You will be joining us at a time when there is a really positive buzz about the place. We are defining and delivering our organisational development and engagement strategy through various projects including talent attraction, pay and reward, cultural change, performance review and recognition.
Whilst the two HR Managers and Business Partners will be leading on these projects, you will be a key contributor to making these projects a success, and in being the primary HR support to the organisation in resolving employee relations matters.
You will ideally be CIPD qualified, and you will have significant HR Advisor level experience; this role is not for someone looking to start their career in HR.
We will provide you with support to continue your personal and professional development, a competitive salary, annual leave, and contribute 15% towards the LGPS pension scheme. You will also have access to a range of discounts including annual ‘Better’ leisure centre membership, local and high street stores, and salary sacrifice schemes including a cycle lease scheme, and childcare vouchers.
For an informal discussion about the role, please call Jackie Relffe-Arnold, HR Business Partner, on 01737 276095 or email
We are proud to support the guaranteed interview schemes for those meeting the essential criteria for the role, under the Disability Confident employer scheme for disabled candidates, and the ‘Veteran’s scheme’ for ex-armed forces candidates.
