About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Employee Services Assistant to join our Payroll Team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring payrolls are processed accurately and on time, while providing excellent customer service and supporting best practice across payroll and pension administration.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Assist with the accurate and timely processing of payrolls.</li>
<li>Carry out quality assurance checks to maintain high standards.</li>
<li>Respond to internal and external payroll queries, promoting positive customer relations.</li>
<li>Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive data.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with legislation, local policies, and best practice.</li>
<li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll, pensions, and HMRC regulations.</li>
<li>Support workload monitoring to meet KPI’s and deadlines.</li>
<li>Assist in reviewing and updating payroll processes.</li>
<li>Identifying training needs and contribute to service resilience.</li>
</ul>
About You
We’re looking for someone with:

<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data.</li>
<li>Good communication and customer service skills.</li>
<li>Knowledge of payroll and pensions processes (or willingness to learn).</li>
<li>Ability to work flexibility and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li>
