This transformation is taking place whilst effectively maintaining the on-going delivery of high quality ICT services and digital capabilities enabling us to continue providing excellent services to our Residents. These are exciting times for ICT in Hillingdon and we are looking to fill a number of senior posts that can lead and embed these changes. About the job As Change and Release Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and controlling change to live service environments, service infrastructure including service assets, configuration items and associated documentation. You will establish and enforce effective control over changes to all the components of the service environments software, systems, infrastructure and networks, to ensure all risks are identified and addressed and that availability, performance, security and compliance of the business services impacted by the change are protected. The Change and Release Manager will set the strategy, frameworks and policies for the management of change in live services and manage the implementation of improvement initiatives and change programmes using the Council’s Project Management and Service Improvement methodologies. About the person As the Change and Release Manager, you will have: - Experience and knowledge of change and release planning and relationship management including stakeholder communication; - Experience in establishing and operating an effective ICT Change Advisory Board; - Experience and application of ICT governance frameworks and control, i.e. ITIL; - Knowledge of automated release capabilities and release cycle management; - Knowledge or exposure to Agile working practices and delivery.
