This transformation is taking place whilst effectively maintaining the on-going delivery of high quality ICT services and digital capabilities enabling us to continue providing excellent services to our Residents. These are exciting times for ICT in Hillingdon and we are looking to fill a number of senior posts that can lead and embed these changes. About the job As the Information Security Manager, you will focus on enabling new systems whilst maintaining security, confidentiality and compliance. You will provide expertise and guidance on security policy and standards and lead the provision of information security resources necessary to deliver plans across the council's information systems. You will be experienced in information and network security and will take the lead on security architecture, risk management, regulatory compliance, policy development, implementation and maintenance. In addition, you will assess, investigate and act on security risks and vulnerabilities. About the person Able to operate in a team, you will have: - Knowledge and experience of completing information security audits - Experience of risk assessments and incident analysis - Knowledge and experience of network and computer forensic analysis and investigations. - Experience of application of security protocols, practices and their practical application i.e. ISO 27001, PSN, PCI DSS. - Knowledge of IT Data Protection and standards and their practical application i.e. GDPR and UK Data Protection Act. - Experience of interfacing with the business and ensuring service levels are met - Experience of Agile/Scrum methodologies - Experience effectively implementing change Additional information Disability Confident Employer & Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy
