If you strive to #BeTheDifference and want to be at the heart of our change and improvement journey, then this could be the perfect job for you.</p>\n<p><strong>Geographic Information Systems Officer (GIS) Full time 36 hours </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Fixed Term for 12 months.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p>\n<p>We are looking to appoint Geographic Information System (GIS) Officers to support our Highways teams in Wirral.</p>\n<p>The roles will require working closely with the Development Management, Highways, Waste, Parks and Environment, and Highways teams for GIS activities.</p>\n<p>You will be responsible for capturing, processing, and correcting spatial data in GIS layers. A clear understanding of available GIS tools will be required including MapInfo and QGIS.</p>\n<p>You will work with Project Managers and Service Officers to create GIS products for internal and external use. You will also be responsible for the testing, quality, and accuracy of the completed products.</p>\n<p>If you enjoy working with a variety of operations and think you have what it takes to be the difference for our staff and residents, then this could be the perfect job for you.</p>\n<p><strong>About the candidate:</strong></p>\n<p>We would like to hear from you if you can demonstrate working experience in the spatial analysis, creation, repair, and publication of GIS layers.
