Islington Council is looking for a highly knowledgeable and experienced project manager to work as part of the Information Governance team and to project manage the programme of work to meet the forthcoming General Data Protection Regulation. The roles responsibilities include; • To use appropriate project management methodologies and processes to ensure project workstreams deliver agreed outcomes to time and budget. • To provide advice to and support for GDPR leads in directorates and to assist directorates with delivering their actions. • To liaise closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure delivery of the required actions. The post-holder will need to be aware of existing Data Protection legislation and the impact of the forthcoming GDPR, and have demonstrable experience in delivering projects along with strong influencing, communications and organisational skills.
