Infrastructure Delivery Officer – Development Management

Here at London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, we have carved a solid reputation for ourselves as one of the leading boroughs in London when it comes to development and regeneration. This is sustained through effective delivery of infrastructure and public services to support these developments.

With big plans for future development and regeneration, we are currently looking for an outstanding Infrastructure Delivery Officer to ensure that the necessary infrastructure is developed and maintained.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the council’s S106 and CIL budgets, including managing the receipt and use of all funds. You will ensure that all funds are used in a way that positively contributes to delivering necessary infrastructure.

We will also look to you to work with departments across the council to identify opportunities for cost recovery.

About you

We are looking for an experienced individual with a sound knowledge of development management as well as dealing with planning obligations and CIL.

We will also expect you to have a demonstrable ability to act as a lead officer with minimal supervision. You’ll also need to programme work to agreed deadlines and review processes to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Those that succeed here, come to us with a common set of characteristics. Our team all share our positivity towards bettering our communities through great developments and delivering regeneration on the ground.

To help us succeed even further, we need professionals with people skills and customer focus. Those who can play a productive and positive role, both within their teams and with our customers and resident.

About us

We have recently combined our Regeneration, Planning and Housing services to ensure that we can provide the highest level of service for our residents. The shared service will enable more joined up working between the separate teams and ensure that we are all working towards the same goals.

We are thriving as a borough, with significant regeneration happening throughout. We have a strong reputation for taking on big projects, consistently finding solutions to the challenges we face.

Talk to anyone within the council and they’ll tell you the same thing – our people love it here. There is an overwhelming feeling of pride, because big things happen here and the team know about our even bigger ambitions for the future.

Closing: Monday 4th September
