The role


Oxford City Council is undergoing significant transformational change with the creation of new Trading and Housing companies to work in partnership with the authority. In addition, it is engaged in significant strategic partnership working with neighbouring authorities and other bodies to deliver long-term growth in jobs, housing and infrastructure.

We are looking for an innovative Internal Communications Project Officer who will strategically develop and direct internal communications to embed our new Team Oxford organisational development programme.

The successful candidate will have experience of delivering change communications and driving employee engagement whilst working strategically within a matrix organisation. You will combine the ability to give sound strategic communication advice with the knowledge and enthusiasm for delivering tactics. While Oxford City Council offices are located in the centre of the city, there will be some flexibility over working hours and location.
