The Shared Digital service are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to act as the client IT representative for the Camden Town Hall refurbishment programme and lead on a related portfolio of refurbishment projects, office moves, and schemes in the Corporate Accommodation Programme.
You will provide expert advice on specific technical specialisms in IT as part of the programme and deliver innovative technological solutions to enhance services. You will produce and maintain project plans and management information, whilst ensuring that relevant consultants and all stakeholders involved including senior officers are aware of their responsibilities.
You will play a key role in modernising the Council by developing and implementing IT solutions for proposed technology, layouts and facilities and enhancing agile working aspirations through the accommodation portfolio.
To be considered for this role, you will have experience of Transformation and Change projects, as well as extensive knowledge of the full project management life cycle for the implementation of highly complex, large-scale, strategic IT and business initiatives.
You will have a basic understanding of M&E Engineering and ICT infrastructure and will be familiar with the security standards and all relevant legislation that affects security within the defined scope of authority.
Evidence of delivering politically sensitive projects to successful completion and managing people, external consultants, budgets and risks is essential to the role.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with the ability to support colleagues and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
