Be part of something exciting – help shape the future of digital at Rutland! Are you passionate about delivering top-tier IT support and making a real impact on user experience? Rutland County Council is looking for a Service Analyst to join our dynamic Digital and Information Technology team.
As the first point of contact for technical support, you’ll be at the heart of our service desk - resolving issues, fulfilling requests, and driving service improvements. You’ll work closely with ICT colleagues to analyse performance, optimise service delivery, and champion a customer-first approach.
About the role…
As a Service Analyst in our Service Delivery team, you’ll play a key role in supporting the staff of Rutland County Council, providing IT solutions and introducing new technologies.&nbsp; Duties will also include:
<ul>
<li>Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues</li>
<li>Fulfil service requests like account setups and device deployments</li>
<li>Monitor and report on SLA performance and service desk metrics</li>
<li>Support asset management and maintain compliance</li>
<li>Promote self-service and automation to enhance efficiency</li>
<li>Engage users with empathy, clarity, and professionalism</li>
</ul>
About you…
To be successful you will need to have:
<ul>
<li>Experience in a help desk or technical support role</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused attitude</li>
<li>A flexible approach, be proactive, and have a drive to improve services</li>
</ul>
