RBBC has undertaken a fundamental review of its legal services requirements, working with private legal expertise to develop a structure to meet the Councils needs in a modern and proactive way; and which provides high quality work and great opportunities for able and enthusiastic lawyers. This role is suitable for a legal executive or experienced legal assistant/paralegal who has experience of civil and criminal litigation, ideally carried out within a local authority environment. It is offered as a career role, with the expectation that the law clerk would undertake legal qualification in due course, which would be supported by the Council.
